Instead of regular soaps, we make syndet bars which are mildly acidic, hence closer to the natural pH of skin and scalp, sensitive skin-friendly, and they also help preserve delicate herbal extracts that can be degraded in the high-alkaline soap-making process.

Our detailed product descriptions can guide you in making the right choice. Our herbal formula contains many varieties of medicinal herbs used in traditional Chinese medicine. It's best to test it behind your ears first before using on your skin if you may be allergic to some herbs. We are in the process of formulating a shampoo bar for sensitive skin.

We use high-quality herbs used in traditional Chinese herbal formulas. Each product page lists all ingredients. All of our products are free from SLS, SLES, parabens, synthetic fragrances, artifical dyes and other harsh chemicals. 99.5% of our ingredients are herbal-based or naturally sourced.

Kindly allow up to one week for production and another week for delivery. At Yuen Origin, we make everything in small batches, by hand, with herbs chosen for their real, traceable benefits. We will include samples in the full-size bar products you buy from us for you to try before opening the products. We accept returns from any unopened product within 14 days of its purchase and any return shipping fee if paid by us will be deducted from your final refund amount.
